Here's the first one:
I am thrilled with my new Highland Harp. It is a dream come true, really. After deciding to purchase a harp, I began searching for just the right one. While at a vendor exhibit hall of harps, I got to see and hear the Highland. I was favorably impressed with the sound, and so was a musician friend of ours who was also there. He took me aside and let me know that was the one with superior tone. I was looking for one with at least 26 strings that I could use for harp therapy later on (once I learned to play some).
Well, I went home and thought about this huge decision I had to make. I have some other instruments (some of which I can play), and quality is probably the most important thing to me -- both in sound and in an otherwise finely made instrument. I decided to go with the Highland and am very happy I did. Now my harp graces our home with her presence (yes, I decided she’s a girl). Sometimes I just sit and look at her with awe. The wood is gorgeous. Dan McCrimmon’s attention to detail is very obvious. I keep discovering more things as time goes on to attest to this. He must be a perfectionist.
The harp comes with a stand which makes it a good playing height. It’s considered a mid-size harp, but is light enough for me to carry around in its wonderful carrying case.
I would highly recommend this harp to anyone considering such a purchase.
